Let’s make mom’s life easier! It’s no secret mom life can be very hectic and we feel like we’re drowning trying to keep up with it all. Our schedules, our partner’s schedule, and our kids because their lives are sometimes busier than ours, right? LOL, It’s a lot! All we want to do is figure out a way to make our lives a little easier so we can enjoy all those sweet moments we capture.
This is my list of useful products to make a busy mom’s life easier. These mom products are also amazing gifts to make new mom’s life easier and Mother’s Day gifts to make life easier.

Sometimes we feel like we’re killing it and other times it feels like we are failing miserably. At the end of the day, what matters most is that we are doing our best and our best may look different from day-to-day.
One of my favorite mom quotes and one I think is very important because sometimes a mom’s life is a never-ending to-do list it is by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

How To Make Life Easier As A Mom
Ok, mom life made easy, let’s get organized. It took me a while to realize this myself, but getting organized makes a world of difference.
Cozi Family Organizer– You may remember Cozi from the best free apps for new moms. It’s one of my favorite apps because there is so much you can do with it.
You can create a to-do list, grocery list, add recipes into the “family recipe box” and add ingredients from those recipes to your grocery list when you’re ready to shop so you won’t forget a thing.
There’s a color-coded family calendar as well. To keep everyone’s events and appointments organized. Every day, you can see “today’s” schedule, appointments, to-do, and shopping list.
Google Calendar- Another great option to make life easier and organized is the Google calendar app. With the Google calendar, you can add events and within events, you can add other people, add video conferencing, a location, and even an attachment.
Within the app, you can set goals. Some examples of goals that can be set are exercise, learning a new skill you’ve been thinking about, calling a friend or making a date with a family member, making a goal to set aside some me-time, and/or organizing by planning the day out.
You can also set reminders and tasks. You can color-code all events.
Plan Meals- When thinking about things to make mom’s life easier, meal planning for the week can help lighten the load. Plan out your meals to include your kids’ lunches for the week.
You can use Cozi or Google calendar to create a meal for each day and use Cozi to list out all the ingredients you will need for each meal.
My family is pretty easy to keep happy with food. Tuesday’s meal will always be Taco Tuesday or Nacho Tuesday and Friday’s will always involve pizza whether each person makes their own or we order.
Gifts To Make Mom’s Life Easier
Traditional Planner- One new working mom tip I give is to purchase a traditional calendar. If you really don’t want to carry around a bigger calendar, you could also put those same details into Google calendar.
My go-to calendar is the Happy Planner. The planner can be purchased, undated or dated, with a vertical layout or a horizontal layout. There is also an array of stickers that can be purchased for budgeting, working out, faith, and everyday events.
Dry-Erase Family Planner- A customizable dry-erase family monthly calendar is also an excellent choice. Everyone can add what they need to or remind mom what’s coming up for the month and everyone can see it.

My advice for working moms is to stay organized, get rid of all the extra fluff you really don’t need, and get creative with how you will accomplish your day-to-day task. Ask for help when you need it.

Crockpot- The greatest invention ever made that makes lives easier for a busy mom is a Crockpot! I mean, talk about setting it and forget it. You don’t need a fancy Crockpot to get the job done. You just need a basic one.
One thing you can do or get help to do is clean and season your meats after grocery trips. Put them in different ziplock bags, freeze the various meats, and label them so you will know what seasoning or marinade is on each. When ready, throw in the Crockpot early morning still frozen, and cook on low. Make some sides and dinner is served.

Air Fryer- Another product to make mom’s life easier is an air fryer. You can cook just about anything in an air fryer, even dessert. It’s quick, easy, and allows you to make healthier options because no oil is ever needed.
The basket is:

- BPA-free.
- Removable and nonstick.

Rice Cooker- I know what you may be thinking. Why do I need a rice cooker? First, it’s always a good idea to have rice on the ready for meals. Add a little to soup or salads to make it a heartier meal. Make a quick dinner with some leftover rice, like shrimp or chicken fried rice.
It’s a great product to make your life easier as a mom because it frees you up, which is needed when you have kids running around. Add your water and rice. Select the type of rice and move on to the next thing while your rice is cooking.
I also found the rice cooker a necessity when introducing solids to our son. We used the steam option often for veggies.
Car Organizer- How many times have you gotten home from shopping and opened the trunk and all of your groceries are scattered around your trunk? One of the best products for moms to help avoid this is a car organizer.
I love these car organizers because they can be fully expanded or you can use the dividers. They are also nonslip, and when you don’t need them in place, you can easily fold them down and tuck them away.
Roomba- One of the best gadgets to make a busy mom’s life easier is a Roomba.

Little Green Bissell- While the Little Green Bissell is not a set it and forget it type of product, it’s still a product that involves making life easier. It’s portable and extremely easy to use.
Everyone knows the life of a mom is messy. Juice spills, they may even throw food around, and if you have white furniture, eek. The Bissell allows you to spot clean when you need to without needing to hire someone to come steam your furniture and area rugs.
Just note, the formula is included with the purchase but it is a small bottle, basically a sample size, so I would purchase an additional bottle of formula.

Things That Make Life Easier With A Baby
Baby Carrier- One of the best gifts to make a new mom’s life easier is a baby carrier. I used to wonder how I was going to walk two dogs with a newborn while my husband was at work, get dinner prepped and nurse every 1.5-2hrs.
You can get so much done while wearing your baby. A carrier is definitely one of those things that makes life easier with a baby. And it beats taking a car seat or stroller into the store to shop. The bonus is it’s so comforting for them.
