Some kids may dread the end of summer vacation, while others are counting down the days until they can show off their new backpacks and sneaks. Whether your kid falls into the first or second category, one thing is certain – a little encouragement never hurt anybody. That’s where printable back-to-school messages come in handy. These messages can serve as gentle reminders of love, encouragement, and positivity, helping your kids feel confident and motivated as they navigate the challenges of a new academic year. Hopefully, with a sprinkle of inspiration, they’ll be a little less grumpy about heading back to class.

Why Use Printable Back-To-School Messages

Now, you may wonder why bother with printable messages when you can just text your kid or shout reminders at them as they rush out the door. Well, here are a few reasons:

1. Personal touch: There’s something special about holding a physical message in your hands. It shows that you took the time to sit down and choose something just for them.

2. Boost morale: Finding an encouraging message from your parents you did not know they packed can go a long way in boosting your child’s confidence and setting a positive tone for their day.

3. Organization: Instead of scrambling to find your phone or remember where you saved that last text message, having a printed message ready to go ensures that your words of encouragement are always within reach.

4. Surprise factor: Imagine the look on your child’s face when they open up their lunchbox to find a funny joke or inspirational quote waiting for them.

5. Cost-effective: An affordable option for parents, teachers, or caregivers.

How to Use Printable Back-to-School Messages

After you’ve printed out your back-to-school quotes there are various ways you can use them. One option is to use them as lunchbox notes. Each day slip a message into your kid’s lunchbox for a pleasant surprise from their grownup. Another way to use them and I would recommend laminating for this one, is to turn them into backpack tags. Attach messages to their backpacks as a constant source of encouragement. You can change it out each week, each month, or every day if you like. If you’re a teacher, you can use them as room decor. Hang messages on walls or place them on desks for daily reminders. Last, you can place them around the house. Somewhere you know they will see them before leaving off to school, like the fridge, mirror, or bedroom door.
