What Is A Diaper Raffle? 

There are so many baby shower games to play at your shower but a baby shower diaper raffle is fun and beneficial for the parents-to-be.

On the day of the shower, have an area set up for your raffle or a diaper raffle table. Something like a small table where your guest can place the diapers or you can use the same area as where your gifts will go.  

Once they give the diapers, you give them a raffle ticket, and remember the more diapers they give the more tickets they get. For example, if they present you with two packs of diapers they receive two tickets.

That said, decide whether you want to give your guest a card or a raffle ticket.

The tickets can be as simple as a generic ticket you would find at a carnival. Or you can purchase diaper raffle cards.

With printable diaper raffle tickets/cards, you can get a little fancy because most have some type of cute design on them. The size of the card is something else to consider.

“We are holding a raffle, and participation is optional. If you would like to join in on the fun, bring a pack of diapers for a chance to win a prize. The more diapers, the more tickets you’ll receive to increase your chance of winning.”

I would recommend letting your guest know your diaper preference and asking for no newborn sizes. Babies grow out of newborn diapers rather quickly if they can fit into them at all.

With that said, keep in mind finding the right diaper for your baby will come with a little trial and error so it may not be a bad idea to let your guest bring the diapers of their choice. That way you can test out a variety and find your favorite.

Baby Shower Diaper Raffle Prize Ideas

Let me start by saying your guest are giving you diapers. Diapers. Yes, this is in addition to a gift but they are still diapers. Keep that in mind. You don’t have to go out and purchase a Tory Burch bag for a prize. LOL

Have fun with it.

Ok so here are some ideas:

• Tell your guest taking part in the raffle winner takes all. Their prize will be a gigantic size (82 ounces or so) of ALL laundry detergent.  This one was a big hit for us. Our guest thought it was hilarious and a useful prize.

• Another fun baby shower diaper raffle prize idea is dinner for two. Present the winner with two tv dinners and some apple cider. They’ll get a kick out of this.

• A gift card to a popular restaurant in your area.

• You could put together a gift basket full of goodies.

• A bottle of wine.

• Movie tickets.

• Tickets to a baseball game or any sports event.

• A personalized tumbler.

You can let everyone know what the prize will be ahead of time to increase participation but that may take away the element of surprise.
